Finding Jesus in times when it seems life may never be worth living.
After many hours of studying, researching and even talking to those who have been incarcerated for what ever reason, I am not totally convinced that giving them {a Bible} and giving them hope of salvation through this book is not a good idea or even fair to do. I call it false hope period. When you tell someone who is desperate for a way to change their situation that everything they need to attain, life anew is in this book and that accepting Jesus into their heart along with asking Jesus for forgiveness will some how save them, you are in essence giving them false hope in the worst way. Recidivism rates tell the truth behind the facade. I love Jesus with all my heart and Soul and even all that Love, does not equate to favoritism for faithfulness. Here is a Bible and if you read it which is difficult at best when you are Scholarly to make sense of is just setting people up for failures. If it is that simple to just ask Jesus to forgive you and you will be forgiven, then why stop doing wrong deeds? I mean if you know that Sinning is okay if you make sure to ask for forgiveness when your done then how do you expect us to ever get people taken from society for screwing it over to be allowed back in it as trust worthy citizens? Jesus is not salvation in all it's Glory or else we would not need to keep building more Prisons.
This quote is very common;
"Jesus died for our sins in that He paid the penalty for our sins. As you point out, this does not mean we stop sinning. What it does mean is that the penalty incurred by our sins is satisfied by the payment made by Jesus Himself."
I don't believe that Jesus died on the cross, in the book Secrets and Mysteries of the world written by Sylvia Browne, who is no longer with us and was crucified herself by many Religious Zealots who want to preserve the mean, vengeful, wrath filled God, tells the reader the truth of which there is much proof about Jesus and the fact that he did not die on the cross, here is a link to the passage in the book, http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=106548, I have done the research myself and found that the French have the majority of documentation that they hold onto very tightly, as well are reports from the time of Crucifixion to Jesus death, there are many documents and proof of Jesus being alive and well in Turkey, India, Italy and more with his wife and children. Is this hard to swallow? YES, but only if you are not able to see the stars in the sky, the other planets around the Universe especially after many were killed and tortured for even saying the word stars, lights in the sky, other planets and more.
The research is there and real but weather anyone believes it or not makes no difference to the out come of your soul after death, we all go to Heaven. These realities are shared as a way of easing your mind about the time period about helping you understand just how manipulative the Churches were back then, I would ask you to please think clearly about the two Mary's who went to the tomb of Jesus according to the Bible and the tomb was empty and they began to cry, two angels appeared to the women and asked, "women why do you look for the living among the dead?" Jesus even went to his disciples and asked for some food and ate it in front of them and said to them, (now if I were dead would I be eating food?) Anyways this is really only important in how you see things, but it again makes no difference as to the outcome of your journey, you will go to Heaven like those who believe Jesus died on the cross. Namaste
